Brunel Quay Gets Spruced Up!!

Neyland

The historical items located at the entrance to Brunel Quay have recently been spruced up by one of our Neyland Town Councillors. Cllr Phil Wonnacott recently spend several days rubbing down and painting the Brunel Iron Bench, the two anchors and the bollards surrounding the Brunel Statue and they look much improved. The town council has over the past 12 months purchased a picnic table and several new benches for this area of the marina and with the painting of these items the area now looks even more inviting to residents and visitors. Neyland Town Council recently received funding from Pembrokeshire County Council’s Enhancing Pembrokeshire Fund to renew and replace the 14 information boards located from the entrance of the Marina up to Westfield Pill. The boards describe the history of the area and also provide information on the wildlife to be seen along the Brunel Path.
